PBs aplenty!

Luke Gillmer tops the age group podium at Vancouver Half Iron.

I feel like a broken record, but each weekend seems to bring more PB's and great results for the Mercury crew.

First off, Mercury Coach and athlete Luke Gillmer was the first age grouper and 5th overall at the Vancouver Half Iron event. Coach Clint was very pleased with his performance, and a huge PB!

At the Great White North Half Iron in Alberta, Leanne Sherman and Lorraine Churchill both chopped an HOUR off their previous best times, finishing in 5:47 and 5:15, respectively. Kendall Pritchard improved by over 30mins for a time of 5:24, and Jenna Berthelot also PBed (despite an injury and forced run/walk)! And last but not least, another personal best- Tisha breaks six hours!!

In Canmore, Megan Jones finished 3rd in her age group at the tough but picturesque Olympic distance triathlon. Claire Matheson also did her first half iron in 5 years in Ontario. She too PBed overtaking 150 people during the run!

Lastly, apologies to Micheal Vanderhyde who took 4th in his age group at IM Coeur D'Alene last weekend. Micheal qualified for the World Champs in Hawaii at the Honu 70.3 this year, so we look forward to watching him race on the Big Island!
